Floyd Toups Obituary
Floyd "Gator" Toups, 86, a native of New Orleans and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, July 18, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, George and Stephen Toups; one daughter, Martha Toups Verdin; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile Peltier Toups; his parents, Lester Toups and Maggie Roundtree Toups; and one brother, Norman Toups.
Landry's Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.

Martha, George and Stephen- I was so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. He was such a sweet man and landlord(Pasture Lane) whom I'll always remember.

Martha, I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. He was a dear man who loved to work with his hands. I will always remember the times we spent on Grand Isle. You and your brothers are in my prayers during this difficult time.
