Eunice Matherne Obituary
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Micael and John Lovell Sr.; daughter, Evelyn Saywell; brother, Lawrence Lovell; sister, Florence Bergeron; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Matherne; parents, Nevell and Margaret Billiot Lovell; sons, Norman Lovell and Daniel Paul Callahan; brother, John Junius Lovell; sisters, Mabel Molineire and Laura Mae Billiot; great-grandsons, Justin John and Frank John Lovell; great-granddaughter, Marie Avalon Lovell; and great-great-granddaughter, Isabella Rae Billiot Solet.
Eunice was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
