Hypolite Meyers Obituary

Hypolite Adam Meyers, 75, a native of New Iberia and a resident of Houma, died on Friday, April 29, 2016.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Sunday, May 1 and from 9 AM until service time on Monday, May 2 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday in the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales cemetery II.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Murphy Meyers; eight children, Glenn Hoffpauir, Roxanne Lirette, Gloria Guidry, Connie Rodrigue, Troy, Shane, Kirk, and Susie Meyers; sister, Shirley Comeaux; brother, Donald Meyers; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sib and Bertha Meyers and brother, Ronald Meyers.

Falgout Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
