Lilly Cancienne Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Charles Mausoleum.
She is survived by her children, Ellen Cancienne, of Luling, Alan (Julie) Cancienne, of Luling, Dale Cancienne, of Luling, Calvin (Maria) Cancienne, of Luling, Brent (Colleen) Cancienne, of Houston, Texas, and Fallon Cancienne, of Luling; brothers, Roland Gaubert Sr. and James Gaubert Sr.; grandchildren, Randall, Derek "Jamie", Katelyn, Megan, Madison, McKay, Zoe, Nathan, and Brody Cancienne; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd T. "Bullet" Cancienne; and parents, Theogene and Earline Roger Gaubert.
Lilly was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.

Ellen was one of my best friends in high school. I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it to the church for the celebration of your mothers life. She was a lovely woman, she always remembered me when ever I saw her and she was always a sweetheart. I have fond memories of the things we did as children growing up. I remember Mr. Bullet too, may he rest in peace with your mom as they are together again. May God keep the memories of your sweet and loving mother close to all of your hearts.
