Lloyd Cunningham Obituary

Lloyd Cunningham, 71, a native of Houma and a resident of Schriever, died on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Living Word Church in Schriever. A military service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday and the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Falgout Cunningham; son, Chad Cunningham and wife, Elena; daughters, Sandy Lynn Walker and husband, Leroy, Lisa Moore and husband, Rodney, and Lisa Eschette and husband, Kenneth; stepson, Richard Fryou and wife, Lisa; stepdaughter, Romaine Thibodeaux and husband, Dale; brothers, Leeroy, Horace, and Jason Cunningham; sisters, Roberta Fanguy and Anna Lee Parks; 12 grandchildren: 12 great-grandchildren: and 16 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loveless and Mabel Cunningham.
He loved football. He had strong faith in God and was an active member of Living Word Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
