Lyle LeCompte Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Marie Lirette LeCompte; son, Myles LeCompte, parents, Odis F. and Janice Duplantis LeCompte; brothers, Kyle and wife, Gail LeCompte, Blaise, Todd and wife, Jenni, Odis Jr., and Drew LeCompte and wife, Brandi; sisters, Stacie and husband, Tommy Belisle, Lisa LeCompte, and Wendy and husband, Bryan Bunn; grandchildren, Kaylee Warkow, and Ian and Avery LeCompte; father-in-law, Delvin "Papoose" Lirette; brothers-in-law, D.J. and wife, Joanna Lirette, and Ricky and wife, Brenda Lirette; and sister-in-law, Ida Cherry.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilsey and Allie Duplantis; paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Celeste Bergeron LeCompte; and mother-in-law, Rosale LeBouef Lirette.
Lyle was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Heart Association are preferred.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
