I alway remember my Uncle Armond & his family in our summer trip to Grand Isle in 1973 as I were in teenager . I remember the time he always talk about my funny thing of my life in Grand Isle at night in the summer camp in the house. I can remember the time as I sleep in a mattress on the floor by the open window when it hot at night. and while my Uncle Armond & Aunt Peggie and Blane and Ron were fishing on brige and Tammy came back to the camp and she locked down stir door and when she to bed and I didn't know. I feel this strong wind blowing from the open window and I did feel strong rain pour down on me and I got up out floor bed and to shut window down and I said it Hurricane again It Hurricane!! I saw it was Blane had to use this water hose to stray up into the widow to waking me up to unlock the door . It was funny memory in that night of summer June 1973 as I had to sleep wet bed all night long . But , I have most great memory and I do thank to my Lord to remember my Uncle Armond for share me this wonderful time . I will be missed my Uncle Armond and also my cousin Ron . i Love them I 'll never forget them ..

To the family, our heartfelt sympathy goes out for each and every one of you. For it was each experience he had with you was with the kindness and love of a gentle Giant. Growing up with him and seeing and speaking in later life he was always the same, a humble man that loved life and his family. To him family wasn't everything but the only thing. Losing Ron so close to Mr. Oncale is a pain I feel as well as the entire Dufrene family feels along with you guys. Ron was waiting, he wanted to be the one to stand by daddy as he received his eternal wings, as he done so father and son flew off not into the sunset but rests aside each of you as a guardian and are there anytime you ask and at the speed of Grace. R.I.P. he will do after we all are there along side them. God Bless you guys we love yall.

Rest in Peace Parran. So many great memories as a kid fishing in Grand Isle, Houma Road or Bayou Folse. Lots of laughs with the silliness you use to pull. Thank you for those memories and thank you for the time spent together.
God Bless the entire family. It's been a rough year for you guys and I hope you all find peace. Love you all !!!

Dearest Peggy - I'm SO sorry you lost Armand. Has it really been 67 years? Seems like yesterday! Saying good bye is very hard, but it's really just "so long" - and we'll see them again. Will see you very soon. Love you much - Roonie
