Edgar Bouzigard Obituary
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
He is survived by his sons, Dale Bouzigard and Edgar "E.J." Bouzigard III; grandchildren, Rachel, Chad, and Rory Bouzigard; great-grandchildren, Alisha Bruce, Bethany and Brian Joseph, and Braelyn Bouzigard; brothers, Norbert Bouziga, and Maurice and Erris "Harris" Bouzigard; and sister, Louisa Bouzigard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelia "Tot" Grifin Bouzigard; grandchild, Brian Christopher Bouzigard; parents, Edgar Sr. and Emily Bouzigard; brothers, George Bouziga, Leo Bousegard, and Lorris Bouzigard; infant twin brothers; and sisters, Clarise Bouzigard, Eusta Lafort, Aleia Cheramie, Inez Martin, Laura Terrebonne, Julia Lafort, Nora Bouzigard, and Elmire Bouzigard.
He was a member of the Duck Head Club.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
