Phyllis Rousse-Solari Obituary
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. A prayer service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial to be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Louis "Buddy" Solari; sons, Chad Anthony Guidroz and wife, Crystal, and Rodney Paul Guidroz and wife, Monique; granddaughter, Chloe' Isabella Guidroz; and sisters, Ronnie Bell and Christine James.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nadine Guidroz; parents, Tillman and Rita LeBlanc Rousse; and brother, Tillman Rousse Jr.
She was an employee of Treasure Chest Casino for 15 years. She will be missed by her family, friends, and co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.

Phyllis was a sweet lady, I worked with her for 10 years at TCC. I often ate in the buffet and she was usually our server. She would always greet us with a smile regardless of how bad she felt. It used to break my heart because I knew how bad she was truly feeling, but she kept pumping along. I would often tell her that she needed to take care of herself and don't worry about the buffet, it would run itself. She always put her co-workers above herself and refused go home, she would say that she could not leave them because of being short handed. She certainly was dedicated.
She will be missed and I'm sending my deepest condolences to Rousse-Solari family and Buddy who she adored. You are in my prayers and know that you all have 1 more angel in heaven watching over you all.

My Dear Aunt Fee...simple words cannot.convey with sufficient force the extreme sense of loss this family is experiencing...I cant believe the years have gone so fast and now u r gone....I will NEVER forget your infectious laughter...your bright watery eyes when u laugh....God I will miss u...I love u Aunt Fee...Tell MawMaw and PawPaw and all u reunite with...we love y'all...rest in peace my love...
