Our condolences to Joanna and all Of her family. As a longtime and very dedicated physician in Lockport Dr. Hanley has touched the lives of many people. Practicing on a time when doctors made house calls day and night he was dedicated to caring for his patients. He will have a special place in my heart as I was blessed to have him make many calls to check on me when I was bed bound during my pregnancy in 1960. He will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Dr. Hanley! You have earned your place in Heaven!

Very sad to hear this. Dr. Hanley was one of a kind, along with Dr. Simpson. Made house calls, and could do it all. Family practice, deliver babies, surgery, set broken bones, anything. If Doctors today were more like Dr. Hanley, I think everyone would be be better off.
