Una LeCompte Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her sister, Vivian Champagne; sisters-in-law, Geraldine C. LeCompte and Mae LeCompte; nieces, Donna LeCompte, Tammy Malbrough and husband, Tommy, Penny LeBoeuf and husband, Brady, Rebecca Morgan and husband, Charles, Kathy Bretz, and Krista Bretz; nephews, Daniel LeCompte Jr. and wife, Angela, Mac Dumesnil, Philip J. Dumesnil and wife, Andrea, Bruce Champagne and wife, Miriam, Thomas Champagne and wife, Judy, Kyle Champagne and wife, Mary, Leanda Bretz, and Felix J. Bretz; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Joseph LeCompte Sr. and Felice Pitre LeCompte; brothers, Louis "Buster" LeCompte, Bruce LeCompte, and Felix Joseph "Crip" LeCompte Jr.; sisters, Rose L. Dumesnil, Veanel L. Bretz, and Mary LeCompte; and nieces, Deborah Corney, Anita LeCompte, Louise Dubroc, and Juanita C. Frisella.
Una was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at TGMC, Haydel Memorial Hospice, Dr. Dickie Haydel, and the many other physicians who cared for Una.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.

Aunt Blackie may you rest in peace and comfort in the arms of our Savior. Say hello to my family in Heaven and fly high with all the angels! My prayers are with all the family at this difficult time. You will be missed sweet lady. I will always remember your beautiful smile!
