Tyler Bourg Obituary
Visitation will be held from 5 -9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13 and from 8 -11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14 at Falgout Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at noon on Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma with burial to follow at St. Francis cemetery II.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Denise Bourg; sisters, Carrie Deroche (Toby) and Tany Rogers (Jeramie); half-sister, Kyla Trahan; grandmother, Cora Derrick; godparents, Francis and Sonia Guerrero and Melissa Hebert; aunt, Darlene Babin; niece, Ava Deroche; and nephews, Lukas Parsons, Cameron Rogers and Parker Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean Derrick and Harris and Margarite Bourg.
Tyler was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a giving individual who loved his niece and nephews and was passionate about learning everything he could about the world and those in it. He also loved to hunt and fish and had just killed his first deer. He was a machinist at R&D Machine Shop where he worked with his Dad.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I am just reading all of these messages and I would like to say from my entire family thank you for all the prayers they are not only appreciated but also needed. We have an emptiness that will never be filled but with God and our friends and family we will make it through one day at a time. May my brother rest easy now at home with God until we meet again.
