I went to elementary school with Jack and there are a few things I remember. I know he never liked to be called John and he didn't like reading out loud. When he was called on he would read so fast you couldn't understand a thing he was saying.
I can remember playing football at recess with him, the times him and his buddy, Brad, would cut up, and the cub scout meetings we attended. He was always hyper at our Cub Scout meetings, but he kept us all entertained. I didn't get the chance to get to know him better as we grew up since we eventually went to different schools.
I keep the memories I do have of him fresh in my mind and I will continuing praying for the family to get through this.

Jack and our son, Derrek, became friends at three years old while attending Holy Savior Catholic School. When we asked Derrek about any friends he made during his first week of the nursery program, he went on and on about the boy with the yellow hair. I think it was nearly a month before we learned that the boy with the yellow hair was indeed Jack Brady, remember they were only three years old. They grew up together with sleepovers, birthday parties, class trips, soccer, and of course the Cub Scouts. I believe their friendship was symbiotic, Derrek kept Jack anchored, and Jack taught Derrek to soar. Somewhere along the way, those little boys we knew became men; but to us Jack will always be the boy with the yellow hair.
With our deepest sympathy,
Jacques and Debbie Rotolo

Jack was an eccentric person that brought joy with his accepting ways. Jack wasn't just a friend but an unforgettable companion who's memory will stay with me forever. College divided us for some time, but Jack was never the person to forget. He would pass messages through friends and texted me about his times at LSU. Once in high school, we both went to the literary rally and started to talk about the future. We talked about the day that we would meet as history professors and show our achievements. I will never forget the times we spent together and joy that we shared.
