Joe Dale Bailey, 67, of Winnfield, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Memorial service arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Ashley B. Williams and husband, Heath, of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Madison, Mason, and Morgan Martin; sister, Carol Welch and husband, Earl, of Vidalia; brother, Dennis Bailey, of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Pearl O'Neal Bailey; and sisters, Jackie Dickerson and Jan Campbell.
He was born Friday, Aug. 2, 1946, in Parma, Mo. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Rayburn Hill Hunting Club, and was retired from Trico Marine of Houma.
The family wishes to extend appreciation to the staff and doctors of Willis Knighten-Piermont, Dr. Walker, and Dr. Hogg, as well as the Cancer Center of Natchitoches.
