He went to sleep on earth Saturday morning and woke up on Sunday morning in Heaven. He was a gentle giant of a man who was a proud American. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and was forever changed by that experience. He was wounded there but was not defeated. He was a true family man and dearly loved by his wife, daughters and their spouses, grandchildren and friends. He served his church with much love and humility. He was a Royal Ranger Commander for many years as well as serving as an usher. It was apparent Jesus lived big in him.
