Lonnie Paul Bourg, 64, who was born and raised in Terrebonne Parish, died at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Ann Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Elinor Champagne Bourg; daughter, Kerri Bourg Boquet; son, Marvin Bourg Jr.; parents, George Joseph Bourg and Rose Mae Dupre Bourg; siblings, Sheila Bourg Aucoin and husband, David, Rodney Bourg and wife, Cynthia, Byron Bourg and wife, Melanie Cenac Bourg, and Rosalyn Bourg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lonnie was parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was previously employed and retired from Texaco. He was a consultant and superintendent of Denbury Resources. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was also a member of the Unity Lodge No. 267 F&AM, the Scottish Rite Masons, York Rite Masons, and Jerusalem Temple Shriners. He loved gardening and he also loved landscaping. Lonnie was very much loved and will be missed.
