Adrian Anthony Authement, 77, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, died Thursday, May 19, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, Rodney Authement and wife, Juanita, of Tyler, Texas, Corey Authement and wife, Loleta, of Comacalco, Mexico and Randy Authement of Houma; one sister, Jeanette Authement Stringer and husband, Steven of Houma; seven grandchildren, Shannon, Michael, Kandace, Anjelle, Whitney, Corey Jr., and Krizya Authement; and nine grandchildren, Natalie, Christian, Alexis, Madison, Brennan, Connor, Kaylee, and Kynzie Authement and Trent Price.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Zeldia Marie Prosperie Authement; and two brothers, Leroy and Norman Authement.
He was disabled. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, American Legion, V.F.W. and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin.
