Agnes Zeringue Pertuit, age 99, a native and resident of Lafourche Parish, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Saturday, September 22, at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with burial in the Church Cemetery.
Agnes is survived by her daughter, Diane (Freddie) Badeaux; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Pertuit; parents, Clement and Octiva Folse Zeringue; son, Jessie Pertuit Jr. and wife, Lucy Verrett Pertuit; grandson, Tyrome Badeaux; brothers, Viltresses, Albert, Sidney, Whitney, Henry, and her twin Agney Zeringue; and sisters, Aline Fayette, Olivia A. Foret and Martha Robichaux.
Agnes was a faithful parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church.
Agnes enjoyed traveling and playing cards.
