Bella Foret Roussell, 97, a native of Raceland a resident of Houma, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at 3:20 a.m.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Chalmette. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Chalmette.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Duet Nunez, of Carriere, Miss.; step-daughters, Noelie Kattengail and Sharon Catalanotto; step-son James C. Roussell, Jr.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Curtis Roussell Sr.; grandchild Stephanie Nunez Quick; great-grandson Zachary Nunez; parents Altidore Foret and Ernestine Baudoin Foret; brothers, Ivy Foret, and Camille Foret; and sisters, Lucy Folse and Edith Foret.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
