Beryl Dean Adams, 58, a resident of Houma and native of Terrebonne Parish, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services were held May 19 at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, 120 Hialeah Ave. in Houma, with burial at Southdown Cemetery in Houma.
She is survived by her companion, Cleveland Williams II of Houma; two sons, Nathaniel Diggs III of Houma and Jarandon (Kristy) Adams of Spring, Texas; one daughter, Kimateisha Adams of Houma; three brothers, Oliver Poindexter, Willie Morgan and Freddie Morgan Jr., all of Houma; eight sisters, Faye Williams, Patricia Morgan, Mrs. Melvin (Kathleen) Calloway, Mrs. Earl Ray (Freddie Mae) Mitchell, Sr., Mrs. Paul (Maxine) Dillard, Elaine Brown and Barbara J. Brown all of Houma, and Mrs. Samuel (Joyce) Lane of St. Rose; two grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Adams; her parents, Zilda B. Wallace and Freddie Morgan Sr.; a brother, Eddie Charles Wallace; and sister, Jeanette Brown.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
