Curtis Neal

Curtis Phillip Neal, 67, was born July 12, 1948, and passed away peacefully Friday, July 24, 2015, at his residence.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dale Neal, of Franklinton; daughters, Jeanie Neal Pitre (Chris), of Bourg, and Ladina Poston, of Houma; stepdaughters, Melissa Plaisance (Sammy), of Lockport, Danielle Callais (Jace), of Raceland, and Heather Hebert (Marc), of Lockport; brother, Anthony Neal, of Raceland; sisters, Victoria Bruce, of Lockport, Carolyn Hughan, of Franklinton, and Gail Ledet, of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends; and not to exclude his favorite four-legged friend, Sassy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Amelia Marie Neal; son, Curtis Neal Jr.; brothers, Isaac Neal, John Neal Jr., Floyd Neal and Paul Neal; sister, Amy Neal; and grandson, Chase Anthony Pitre.
Curtis was of the Methodist faith and he was a tug boat captain for Bertuci Marine until he retired.
