David W, Kingrey, 49, a native of Strong, Ark., and a resident of Houma, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his son, David Cox and wife, Cassy, of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Mary Kingrey Pellegrin and husband, Taylor, of Houma; son, Kyle "Bubba" Kingrey of Dallas, Texas; son, Daniel Kingrey and companion, Jesseca Damian of Houma; ex-wife, Karen Kingrey of Houma; mother, Betty Russell of El Dorado, Ark.; father, Dannie J. Kingrey and wife, Shirley, of Houma; brothers, Danny Kingrey and wife, Huong, of Lebanon, Mo., and Gene Kingrey and wife, Karen, of Huttig, Ark.; grandchildren, Cameron Pellegrin, David "Little David" Cox and Michael Cox; and several step-siblings, nieces and nephews.
He was a former wireline operator.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to assist with funeral expenses.
