Donald Joseph Hebert, 61, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:06 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Bird Hebert of Houma; daughters, Brooke Anglada of Houma, Dawn Snyder and husband, Eddie Jr., of Houma; grandchildren, Kelsie Hebert and Jake Anglada; brothers, Gene Hebert and wife, Meril, Floyd Hebert and wife, Joan, Sonny Hebert and wife, Dot, Gilbert Hebert and wife, Rhonda; brother-in-law, Doug Bird and wife, Marcy; sisters-in-law, Sheila O'Dea and husband, Tom, Shelly Martin and husband, Danny; and mother-in-law, Delores Bird.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Joseph Hebert Sr. and Eula Lambert Hebert; grandson, Edward Lee Snyder III; and father-in-law, Robert D. Bird.
Donald was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a retired Allstate Insurance Agent. He was a TPR softball coach and ASA Magic softball coach, a member of Start Corporation, Cajun Grotto, Jerusalem Shrine Temple, Houma Shrine Club Motorcycle Escort. He was a past Master of Terrebonne Fellowship, a 32nd Degree Mason and an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a friend to all. His greatest love of all was his family.
