Joyce Danos Obituary
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday, June 2, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Collette V. Smith and spouse, Mike, Stephen J. Danos and spouse, Lisa, Celeste J. Danos and spouse, Rochelle, Matthew T. Danos and spouse, Dorine; grandchildren, Heath M. Vizier and spouse, Addie, and baby, Nicholas D. Vizier, Hannah D. Falgout and spouse, Jacob, Tiffany L. Danos and friend, Matthew Labat, Shyla V. O'Neal and spouse, Taylor, Hailey A. Francis, Miranda L. Danos and Sarah M. Danos; and sister-in-law, Virgis LeBlanc.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Nicholas W. Danos Jr.; parents, Josephine Guidroz LeBlanc and Benny LeBlanc; brothers, Bobby LeBlanc and L.C. LeBlanc; and sister-in-law, Clarice.
Joyce was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, the Altar Society, Larose Senior Citizens and the Council on Aging. As a licensed practical nurse, she worked in many hospitals and nursing homes in the area, including Lady of the Sea, St. Anne General and Sako's Nursing Home, now Raceland Manor.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I had the absolute privilege of sitting with Mrs. Danos during one of her hospital stays. She was a beautiful, charismatic lady. She will be greatly missed. Prayers going up to the family.
