Kenneth Comeaux Sr. Obituary

Kenneth P. Comeaux Sr., 74, a native and resident of Houma, died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer.

Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time on Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at St. Francis II.

He is survived by his sons, Kevin P. Comeaux and Kenneth P. Comeaux Jr. (Harriet); daughter, Melanie C. Clouse (Kyle); sisters, Elaine Hebert, Evelyn Galbraith, and Karen Comeaux; brothers, Daniel Comeaux Sr. and Robert Comeaux; grandchildren, Jayme Scott, Joshua Comeaux, Willie Comeaux, Katie Comeaux, Marcus Schexnayder, Eddie Comeaux, Tori Comeaux, and Kylynn Clouse; and great-grandchildren, Jaya, Jasmyn, Kaydan, Rylee, Noah, Adele, Adrian, Karter, Elaina, and Kylah.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Crochet Comeaux; parents, Willie and Isabele Songe Comeaux and in-laws, John "Big John" Crochet Sr. and Adele Naquin Crochet.

He was a Master Mason of Unity Lodge 267 and New Orleans Scottish Rite, a Shriner from Jerusalem Temple of Destrehan. He was also a member of Woodmen of the World. He was a former employee of McDermott Inc. He enjoyed riding his dune buggy in the parades and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

My sweet daddy , I will cherish every moment we had together. It was so hard holding your hand and telling you that It was ok to let go, but I am so glad I was there for you as you took your last breath. I know in my heart that you are now with momma and your parents. I now have another angel to watch over myself my brothers and your grandchildren you may not be here in body anymore,but you are here in spirit with me.
