Lloyd Johnson Sr., 89, a native of Napoleonville, and resident of Belle Rose, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at First Baptist Church in Smoke Bend. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn (the Rev. Melvin) Williams, Eula (Terry) Thomas, Cecile W. (Gene) Hines, Tolanda W. Chiquet and Lois W. (Harrison) Williams; sons, Leroy (Diane) Johnson Sr., Johnny Johnson Sr., Nathan (Paulina) Williams and Corey (Marsha) Williams Sr.; companion, Doris Fredrick; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Aline Johnson; wife, Leanna D. Johnson; children, Lloyd Johnson and Donna Downcereaux; brother, Authur Johnson; and sisters, Earline Davis and Permilla Bougere.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of arrangements.
