Loretta Foret Obituary
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Perrin (Tim) and Paula Theriot (Gerard); grandchildren, Hunter and Austin Perrin, Claire, Nicholas and Jacob Theriot, and Kayla and Brennan Pierce; and brothers, Anthony and Michael Cantrelle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Foret; daughter, Melissa Foret; parents, Claudine and Julian Cantrelle; and siblings, Marie Allemand, Agnes Plaisance, Lorenza Bonvillian, Earl, Jules, Armojean, Maurice, Claudine, Brenda, Benten and Brenton Cantrelle.
Loretta was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was on the board of directors for the Raceland Senior Citizens Center.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rest in peace my friend. I will miss you like a sister. No one can ever share our stories but when I do smile at the thought of one of our adventures I will know you are smiling right there with me. You are the greatest example of love, family, kindness and loyalty. Your heart had a revolving door that constantly was giving and receiving whatever people around you needed.
