Neilton "Brown" Gisclair, 83, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. A memorial service will be a noon Friday at the funeral home, with burial at a later date.
He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Orgeron and husband, Darryl, and Deborah Perrin and husband, Jimmy; stepdaughter, Charlene A. Trosclair and husband, Dudley; stepson, Wade Allemand and wife, Elda; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rilda Allemand Gisclair; parents, Euzbe and Nora Savoie Gisclair; and sisters, Sophie Thomassie, Eunice Pitre, Juanita Danos, Thelma Zistrunk, Nola Blanchard and Alma Gisclair.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
