Nicholas Shaw, 23, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m Monday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
He is survived by his parents, Philip and Rosalie Shaw; fiancee, Meagan Torres; siblings, Leslie and Christopher Bourg, Scott and Janet Shaw, Kim Stevens, Jerome and Stephanie Shaw, Kyle and Mandie Shaw, Erin Shaw, and Renee and Ralph Bivins; grandparents, Warren Shaw and Joyce LeBlanc; and 18 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emma Shaw and Irvin LeBlanc.
He was proudly employed by Bourgeois Meat Market. He loved cooking for family and friends, playing on his XBox and playing with his dog. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, and billiard player.
