Erika Boquet, 29, along with her children Isabella, 11, Elisabeth, 8, and Tytis, 6, were called home on the morning of Aug. 13, 2018 due to a heartbreaking car accident in Burns, Oregon. Three other family members and one other vehicle occupant were also taken suddenly.

Erika and her children were residents of Tacoma, Washington and previous residents of Houma, Louisiana.

The Boquet family is survived by father and husband, Todd M. Boquet Jr.; grandfather and father-in-law, Todd M. Boquet Sr.; grandmother and mother-in-law, Kate A. Domangue; godmother/aunt and sister-in-law, Tiffany Boquet Trahan; godmother/aunt and sister-in-law, Chelce Boquet Crochet; their family dog, Jean Lafitte; as well as an abundance of family and friends in both Louisiana and Washington.

All members of the Boquet family were born in Tacoma, except Elisabeth Ann, who was born in Houma.

The Boquet family was preceded in death by biological grandmother and mother-in-law, Lisa Hebert Boquet; aunts and sisters-in-law, Genny Nicole and Destiny Nicole Boquet; uncle and brother-in-law James Paul Boquet; along with many more family members and friends.

The Boquet's were extremely kind, charitable and loving. They had an immense amount of energy combined, and they put forth every effort into helping others, oftentimes, before themselves. The Boquet's never met a stranger and they made it a point to touch as many lives as possible.

This family was ambitious in all their endeavors, and they always stood by each other regardless of the situation. They were very active in their communities in both Houma and Washington.
Erika led her children to be disciples of faith; these children were equally active in their religious organizations and bible camps.

There were many accomplishments for this family, as they all worked hand-in-hand toward each goal, rather than independently. You seldom saw any of the family members without the presence of another; they wholeheartedly loved one another and thrived on their remarkable bond that they had.

The Boquet's shared their passion of helping others by creating the nonprofit organization "One Last Stop" that helps people in need. Their goal was to assist as many needy families as possible, and through family members and friends in both Louisiana and Washington, their dream will continue on.

Erika, Isabella, Elisabeth, and Tytis made this world a better place for the short time that they were here. Heaven has gained four of the most prominent angels that could ever be noted. They all will forever be missed and never forgotten.

A memorial service was held in their honor Aug. 26, 2018 at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, Washington. A separate Christian Mass and Burial will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, with immediate family gathering beforehand from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a monetary donation to the family on behalf of their nonprofit organization, One Last Stop.
