Verona Malbrough Bergeron, 92, a native and resident of Houma, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Voisin and husband, Gary, and Faye Daigle and husband, Stephen, all of Houma; two sons, Allen Bergeron and wife, Kay, and Daniel Bergeron and wife, Cynthia, all of Houma; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Easton Bergeron; her parents, Vede Malbrough and Justine Labit Malbrough LeBouef; one son, Earl Bergeron and wife, Mona; one sister, Vera Boudloche; two brothers, V.J. and Victor Malbrough; and one granddaughter, Abby Marie Bergeron.
She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
