Mary Dupre

Mary Fazzio Parfait Dupre, 80, a native and resident of Dulac, died at 8:50 a.m. Friday April 20, 2012.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

She is survived by her sons, Floyd Parfait and late wife Susan, Murphy Jr. "Curly" Parfait and wife Lisa, Roland "Ronky" Parfait and wife Debra, Carl Parfait and wife Mary, Tommy Parfait and companion Lynn, Robert Parfait and fiancée Autumn, Kelly Parfait and wife Cheryl, all of Dulac; her daughters, Dea Gauthreaux and companion Jerry Luke, Debra Parfait and companion Carlton DeHart Sr., Peggy Bell and husband Gary, Jody Duplantis and husband Yancy, Sharon Luke and husband Craig, Lisa Richard and husband Stefan, and Patty Lutz, all of Dulac; one daughter-in-law Marion Parfait; one former daugher-in-law Becky Parfait of Dulac; one brother, Jimmy Robling of Dulac; sisters Mildred Verdin and late husband Wilbert and Emily Verdin and late husband Boy all of Dulac; 50 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Murphey Parfait Sr.; her second husband, Dudley Dupre Sr.; her parents, Joseph Fazzio and Ida Fazzio; two sons, Ronald and Donald Parfait; one brother, Julius Fazzio; three grandchildren, Amanda Parfait Liner, Heather Bell and Janell Parfait; two great-grandchildren, Skila Falgout and Kimmi Dufrene; and one daughter-in-law, Dawn Parfait.

She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.

She enjoyed the casino, bingo and loved to dance. She was loved by all who knew her. She will be missed by all her family and friends and they all knew her as mom.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Knights of Columbus in Dulac.
