Polly Guidry
Polly "Dunce" Guidry, 38, a native of Dulac and resident of Houma, died Thursday, April 26, 2012.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
She is survived by her mother, Mae Jean Guidry; father, Calvin Paul Guidry Sr.; daughter, Colorado K. Guidry; two sons, Trett Paul Matherne and Brett Joseph Matherne; four sisters, Bernadine "Peggy" Fanguy, Berna "Granny" Fanguy, Mary "Poule" Guidry and Holly Guidry; brother, Paul "Tim Boy" Guidry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin "Bosco" Guidry Jr.; sister, Helen "Clotilde" Guidry; and grandparents, Adam and Felicie Guidry, and Wilsey Lodrigue and Helena Foret.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
