Robert Santiny
Robert "Bobby" Santiny, 77, a native and resident of Grand Isle, died at 11:08 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church in Grand Isle. Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Crosby Santiny; sons, Shayne and Lance Santiny; daughters, Alma Hebert and Bambi LeBlanc; brother, Ray Santiny; and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Agnes Guidry Santiny; daughter, Robbin Crosby; and sister, Flossie Adams.
He was a lifetime member of Grand Isle Redfish Rodeo, Grand Isle American Legion Post 309, vice-president of Grand Isle Levee Board, past president of Grand Isle Fire Department, and bird watcher.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
