Mattie Scott
Mattie Ree Scott, 81, a native of Florien and resident of Houma, died Thursday, May 3, 2012.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Old Pilgrim Star Baptist Church in Florien, with burial in Pilgrim Star Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Trosclair and husband, James Sr.; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Scott and Aldie Williams Scott; brothers, Harold T. Scott and Cecil Scott Jr.; and sisters, Mable Scott, Glenish Babers and Nevelyn Dennis.
She was Baptist.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
