Oscar Pharagood
Oscar Pharagood III, 22, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Napoleonville, died Thursday, May 3, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church on Brule Road. Religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial to follow at St. Peter Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
He is survived by his parents, Oscar Pharagood Jr. of Thibodaux and Rhonda Green of Houma; his fiancée, LaTescia Pinkey of Napoleonville; two daughters, Anaya Pharagood and Amaya Young, both of Thibodaux; his brother, Montell Pharagood; two sisters, Jasmine Henry and Tekel Coleman, both of Houma; and his grandparents, Sarah Pharagood, Samuel Green and Catherine Collins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Oscar Pharagood Sr.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
