Rita Legendre
Rita G. Legendre, 91, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Philip Legendre and wife, Susie, and Guy Legendre Jr. and wife, Loretta; daughter-in-law, Lindell Legendre; and five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy G. Legendre Sr.; parents, Clement and Virginia Gaubert; son, Daniel "Duck" Legendre; four brothers, Harry, Emile, Arnaud, and Roland Gaubert; and two sisters, Lillie Mae Gaubert and Marion Chauvin.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
