Shirley Cheramie
Shirley Cheramie, 84, a native of Walnutport, Pa. and resident of Galliano, died on Wednesday May 30, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Antoinette Aucoin, and Angela Cheramie and companion, Richard Bourgeois; grandchildren, Jonathan Aucoin, Brandon Aucoin, and Rachel Duet and husband, Brandon; and great-grandchildren, Kyra Aucoin and Lyric Duet.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Antoine Cheramie; parents, Leroy and Alma Heffelfinger; and sisters, Gloria Zuber and Marlene Troxell.
