Lionel Johnson Sr.
Lionel Johnson Sr., 80, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died June 1, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 am Saturday to funeral time at 10 am. at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux with burial at church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Audrey Johnson of Thibodaux, two sons Lionel and Betty Johnson Jr. and Jeffery and Miranda Johnson, one daughter Joan Marie and Auther Shaw, four brothers James and Ethel Johnson, Lawrence Johnson, Alvin "Timothy" and Gloria Johnson, and Walter Johnson, two sisters Georgia Long , and Mildred and Charles McGuin, and 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Timothy Sr. and Ida Johnson, two brothers Timothy Johnson Jr. and Charles Johnson, two sister Susan Hampton and Beatrice Johnson.
He was a member of Moses Baptist Church.
Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
