Alton Naquin

Alton "Tiger" Naquin, 84, a native of Point-Aux-Chene and a resident of Bourg, died Mon. June 11, 2012 at 10:56 am.

Visitation will be held Thurs. June 14, 2012 from 9:30 am to 11 am. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. There will also be a military service at 10 am to mass time, 11 am., at the church followed by a burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived be his wife, Ismay Trahan Marie Naquin, daughters, Judy N. Bourgeois Robicheaux and husband Jean, Cindy Naquin Babin and husband Bobby, Darlene Naquin Hemphill and husband Rickey, Charlene Naquin Robichaux and husband Kirk, son, Rev. Eric Naquin and wife Patricia, step-daughters, Mary Linda Adams and husband Jay, Gayle Epperson, and Anita Belanger and husband Sonny, brother, Roger Naquin, sisters, Helen Plaisance, and Annie Ledet, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Theresa Bourg Naquin, father, Neville Naquin, and mother Dorina Naquin, brothers Andrew and Louis Naquin. his sister, Adele Naquin Crochet, and grandsons Ray and Alex Bourgeois.

He was a memeber of the VFW, Knights of Columbus and an Army Veteran.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
