Paul Junior Savoie, 75, a native of Houma and resident of Bourg, died on Tues. June 12, 2012 at 9:55 pm.
Visitation will be held on Fri. June 15 from 8:30 am. until service time at St. Ann Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Fri. June 15, 2012 at 10 am. at the church. Burial will commence at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Edith Voisin and her children, Melinda LeBlanc and husband Ricky, Amanda Baker and husband Ron, Tracy Graves and husband Dane, Wendell Voisin and wife Tina, and Bryan Voisin, brothers, Murphy Savoie, Sr., Sterling Savoie, Sr. and Nelson Savoie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur A. Savoie and Beatrice Bourg Savoie, brothers, Arthur Savoie, Merlin Savoie, and his sister, Nelly Theriot.
He was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a carpenter and enjoyed gardening, fishing and conversing with his friends and family.
