Mildred Labbe'
Mildred Davis Labbe', 88, died Thurs., June 14, 2012 at 3:36 am. She was a native and resident of Houma.
Visitation will be held on Sat., June 16, 2012 from 10 am. until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 12 pm. at Chauvin Funeral Home.
She is survived by her, Daughters, Gayle Martien of Lafayette, LA; Diana Powell and husband Mike Powell of Houston, TX; Ellen Monteiro and husband John "Bucky" Monteiro of Houma, LA; Elizabeth " Betty" Chenault and husband Alanson "Skipper" Chenault of Mandeville, LA; Son, Michael Labbe' and wife Sherri Labbe' of Houma, LA; 11 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, John H. Davis of Sequim, WA and Ovide J. Davis of Pascagoula, MS.
She was preceded in death by her, Husband of 63 years, Waldo "Wally" Labbe', Parents, John B. Davis and Emeline Bazet Davis, and Brother, Bernard Davis.
She was an active member of the Terrebonne Garden Club since 1954 and a 2 time Past President. She was an active member of the Terrebonne Volunteers for Family and Community, a member of Terrebonne Historical and Cultural Society and a member of the Terrebonne Bird Club. She was an avid bird photographer, a horticulturist and a lifetime member of the Sew n Sew's.
