Charles Louviere
Charels Joseph Louviere, 74, a resident of Galliano, passed away peacefully in his home at 7:15 pm. June 13, 2012.
Visitation will be held on Sat. June 16, 2012 from 9 am. to 11 am. at Our Lady Of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at the church at 11 am. followed by a burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Geraldine Williams Louviere, two sons, David Louviere and wife Connie, Peter Louviere and wife Bonny, three daughters, Tina Crosby and husband Thomas, Ann Addison and husband Moody, Hollie Fournier and husband Lane, one brother Gerald Louviere and wife Juliette, one sister, Mona Gisclair, ten grandchildren, Scott Louviere, Russ Addison and wife Suzzette, Brian Louviere, Marie Crosby, Chase Addison, Lanie Fournier, Katie Louviere, Allie Fournier, Evan Louviere and Luke Louviere.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Antoine Louviere and Milanese Terrebonne Louviere.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Golden Meadow. He was a dedicated employee of Lady of the Sea Hospital for 35 years as a Medical Technologist.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association of Louisiana in honor of Lou's Mission.
