John Clement
John Paul Clement, 82, a native of Chacahoula and a resident of Thibodaux, died on Wed. June 20, 2012.
Visitation will be from 8 am. until funeral time on Fri. June 22, 2012 at St. John The Evangelist Church in Thibodaux. A mass of Christian burial will be on Fri. at 11 am at the church, followed by a burial at the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Clement, daughter, Debra Clement Clausen and husband Marc, son, Rickey Clement and wife Tracy, grandchildren, Michelle C. Boudreaux and husband Daniel, Nicol Clausen, Jeremy Clausen and wife Megan, Tasha C. Rodrigue and husband Trent, and Megan Clement, and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Morris Clement and Laura Malbough Clement, son, John Clement Jr., sister, Hazel Daigle, and his brother, Andrew Clement.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Clement worked for Acadia Dairy for 49 years. He was a member of the volunteer fire department and enjoyed spending his time feeding birds.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
