Raymond Domangue
Raymond Peter Domangue, 71, a native of Houma and a resident of Bourg, died Sat., June 23, 2012 at 9:50 am.
Visitation will be held Fri., June 29, 2012 from 5 pm. to 9 pm. and Sat., June 30, 2012 from 9 am. to 11 am. at St. Ann Community Center, Bourg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sat., June 30, 2012 at 11 am. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bourg. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Bourg.
He is survived by wife, Gloria Ann Boudreaux Domangue, daughters, Donna Black Dupre, Becky Kramer and husband Whitney "Butch", Holly Hebert and husband Jonathan, brothers, Aaron Domangue and wife Betty, Druis Domangue and wife Evelyn, sister, Mazie Boudreaux and husband Ralph, grandsons, Tyson and Tyler Black, and Preston Hebert, granddaughters, Rayme Black, Brook and Bailey Kramer, Madison and Olivia Hebert, sister-in-law, Jennie Domangue, dear friend, Danny LeCompte. He is also survived by sister and brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vanis Anthony and Gertrude Deroche Domangue, in laws, Edward and Sophie Boudreaux, brother, Ray Domangue, Sr., and sister, Shirley Felio and husband Russell, and life long friend, Elmer "Jr." Chauvin.
He retired after 19 years of service from Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government, where he was the Superintendent of Drainage.
He was a loving, caring, and generous husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Raymond loved to work in his garden, hunt, fish, and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful provider who always put his family first.
