Lonnie Black
Lonnie Clifton Black, 77, of Pascagoula, MS passed away peacefully Fri., June 29th 2012.
Visitation will be from 11 am until service time. Bro. Gene Vance will be officiating.Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 2nd 2012 at 2 pm from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home located at 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd. Theodore, AL 36582. Interment will follow in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
He was born March 28th 1935 in Ft Pierce, FL. Mr. Black was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a hard working commercial fisherman and heavy equipment operator who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren upon retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jane Billheimer Black, his children Russel (Paula) Black of Cut Off, LA, Darren Black of Easton, PA , Russell (Joyce) Black of Collierville, TN, and Beth (Brian) Chapuis of Pascagoula, MS; brother Eugene (Marion) Black of Milton, FL; sister Euretha (Lindy) Black of Holt, FL; grandchildren Anthony (Dawn) Black of Cut Off, LA, Brandon Black of Collierville, TN, Avery and Briley Chapuis of Pascagoula, MS; great-grandchildren Damen and Jeremy Black of Cut Off, LA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Nancy Black; brothers James, Ira and Eli Black; granddaughter Jessica Black.
