Florence Crochet
Florence "Miss Flo" Cotton Crochet, 85, a native of Houma and a resident of Houma, died Sunday, July 08, 2012.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm at Samart Funeral Home of Houma . Visitation will continue on Wed July 11, 2012 from 9am - 11am at St. Francis Cathderal. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed July 11, 2012 at 11am at St. Francis Cathedral.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery # 2, Houma.
She is survived by her son, Ronald J "Monk" Crochet, Sr. and wife Joyce, daughters, Crystal Dubois and husband Lerie, Michele Louviere, brother's, Delvin Cotton, Easton Cotton, sister, Elvina Matherne, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her
Husband, Leroy J. Crochet, parents, John Dennis and Lovinia Rodrigue Cotton, two brothers, Lawrence Cotton and Sidney Lodrigue, sister, Marie Lydia Poiencot.
She enjoyed cooking and taking care of others.
The family would like to thank HL Haydel Memorial Hospice staff for their care, love and support.
