Lena Dufrene
Lena Hogan Dufrene, 87, a native and resident of Bayou Gauche, LA died on Thurs., July 19, 2012, at her residence in Bayou Gauche, LA.
Born Sat. Oct. 18, 1924 in Des Allemands, LA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hogan and the late Florentine Hogan. She was the wife of the late Jeffery Dufrene and mother of the late Jeffery Dufrene, Jr.
Surviving are daughters, Peggy Dufrene and husband Hector, Janice Walls and husband Dwight, Dorcas Frickey and husband Lloyd "L.J", and daughter-in-law, Betty Dufrene, brother, Jerry Hogan, sister, Clara Dufrene, 11 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 12 pm. on Mon. July 23, 2012 at Life Fellowship Community Church. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche, LA.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm. to 9 pm. on Sun. July 22, 2012 and from 10 am. until funeral time Mon. July 23, 2012 at Life Fellowship Community Church, Bayou Gauche, LA.
