Donald Hazleton

Donald Lee Hazleton, 78, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at 2:45 a.m. He was a native of Alexandria, and resident of Houma.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 from 8 a.m. until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc..

He is survived by his, Wife of 60 years, Barbara Harrell Hazleton, Children, Donna Hazleton Harlow and husband Michael of Mc Donough, GA, Susan Hazleton Carlos and husband Philip of Theriot, Ernest Keith Hazleton of Houma, Laura Hazleton Rice and husband Keith of Cypress, TX, and Amy Hazleton Neil and husband Michael of Houma; Grandchildren, Donald Lee Thomas and wife Sarah, Tonya Fick and husband Tommy, Heidi Pousson and husband Jimmy, Traci Diefenderfer and husband Eric, Shane Landry and wife Angie, Ben Hazleton and wife Monique, Michelle Hanks and husband James, Chris Hazleton and wife Kayla, Jaime Foret and husband Jean, Brian Carlos and wife Lisa, Heather Garret and husband Walker, Lindsay Bradford and husband Blake, Jessie Rice and wife Sarah, Holly Hazleton, Amy Ledet and husband Chase, Breanna Harlow, Jonathan Hazleton, Kaitlin Harlow, Randi Rice, and Michael Harlow and 23 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Ernest Leon Hazleton and Keitha Elaine Smith Hazleton; Brother, Arthur Clay Hazleton

Don was a member of Living Word Church. He was a charter member of Terrebonne Black Bass Club, he was a member of the Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce and the Republican National Committee. He loved fishing, gardening and loved spending time with his family and going to "Camp Ma Famille". Don was a loving husband of 60 years. His family was his joy. He was co-owner along with his wife Barbara of Terrebonne Vending Company of Houma. Together they serviced Terrebonne and surrounding Parishes for 45 years. He was cherished by his family and will be greatly missed... In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Living Word Church Building Fund.
