Jeanetta Gray
Jeanetta Boyd Gray, 86, a native of Raceland and a resident of Vacherie died on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012.
A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. A Religious service will begin at 11 a.m. at the Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012. A burial will follow in Brooklyn Lane Cemetery in Raceland.
She is survived by her daughter; Gertie Gray, Patricia Keller, Shirley Zenon, and Ruth Gray, son; Nelly Gray, brothers; Johnny Boyd, Jr., and Hezekiah Triggs, 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Simon Gray, parents; Johnny Sr. and Lommie Boyd, one son and one daughter; brothers Ernest Boyd, Eddie Boyd, Aubrey Boyd, and Richmond Boyd, sisters; Ethel Robinson, Ida Baptiste, Kathleen Jackson, Ora Folse, Olivia Boyd, Estelle Folse and Kate Rose.
She was a Baptist.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
